i did that for about a month just because i was curious, and from the way you talk i can see you havent. Ps: you obviously havent done any reasearch on the internet, meaning searching for what you can find and how much of what you find is legal. probly because they didnt care where you were or what you were doing. also you should really look into being able to read other better even if its ont he internet because obviously thats something your parents didnt teach you. parents that watch there kids activity should be given more respect than there given, because theres alot of parents that could careless what there kids are doing or where there kids are. parents that dont watch/overlook there kids are the ones that usually come out all screwed up. it just shows that they care about there kids well being if you cant see that then you dont ever need to have kids. just because they want to know what there kid is looking at on the internet doesnt mean there trying to control there life. further more my parents whatched all my internet activity until i was 18 and i came out fine. yes its very unlikely of this happening but theres always the possiblity of it. therefor if the parents said 'i was the one veiwing the site' then they would be charged with it and go to prison. Obviously you didnt read/comprehend where i said 'illegal site' which means kiddie porn/rape videos ect. Your paranoia makes me think YOUR parents didn't trust YOU as a child. The government has more important things to do than investigate teenagers looking at porn. Really, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. PS: Who cares if the government indentifies your IP address? You could say it was the parents who were viewing the page. Parents may have the RIGHT to police their child's every action, but it is not HEALTHY for the child, and is therefore not a good idea. They also have the RIGHT to mold their children into violent, paranoid, antisocial nutcases. Yes, parents have the RIGHT to be Thought Police for their children. If you are constantly suspicious of them, they will be constantly suspicious of everyone else later in life. They will try to exert total control over other people later in life, which can lead to some bad situations. If you exert total control over them, they will learn that is the proper way of doing things. Children tend to learn the behaviors of their parents. My point is that a parent who exercises total control over their children will raise some pretty messed up children. You would be condemned to tell the truth. You would be the only person that couldn't hide their true opinions from anyone. That would put you at a rather severe disadvantage, because lying serves an important purpose in social interactions. If you think this device is ethical, imagine if everyone could tell if YOU were lying or not.

Is it ethical to use this device? It would certainly convince your child not to lie to you. All you have to do is press a button, and a green light will activate if they are telling the truth, or a red light if they are lying.
